Privacy policy
What data does this site collect?
We collect nothing directly. There is no account, no signup, no newsletter and no contact form. Advertising and hosting providers may set cookies or process technical data, which is described in full below.
Last updated 15 August 2026.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no comment section and no contact form. We do not ask you for personal information and we have nothing to sell. The only data involved is what our hosting and advertising providers handle automatically, described below.
What stays on your own device
Two pages use your browser's local storage, which never leaves your computer and is never transmitted to us:
- The data rescue checklist remembers which items you have ticked.
- Nothing else on the site stores anything.
Clearing your browser data removes it. We cannot see it at any point.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information necessary to deliver the page — your IP address, browser type and the page requested — and may use it for security and abuse prevention. This is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Third-party advertising providers, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center.
- You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads on this site and set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will be shown a consent notice before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you sign up for a service after following one. This never affects what we recommend, and pages carrying affiliate links say so.
Links to other sites
We link to official platform pages so you can complete a deletion. Once you follow one of those links you are on that company's site, subject to their privacy policy, not this one. We have no control over what they collect.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct or erase. Requests relating to advertising data should go to the advertising provider, since they are the party that holds it.
- If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR): you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
- If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these, or to ask what we hold, email info@deleteanything.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
