What is Delete Anything?
An independent site with step-by-step guides for permanently deleting accounts on major platforms. Every guide leads with the working link and the exact steps, and records the date its instructions were last checked.
Why this exists
Searching how to delete an account usually returns a 2,000-word article that buries the answer, or a link that quietly stopped working two years ago. Instagram's old one-click deletion URL is the clearest example: it now redirects to a help article, yet guides across the web still point at it.
Every page here opens with the answer. No preamble, no signup, no newsletter gate.
How the guides are checked
Steps are verified against each platform's own help documentation, not copied from other guides. When a page has been checked, it says so, with the date: "Steps last checked [date]". When it has not been checked, it says nothing — rather than claiming a check that never happened.
That verification has repeatedly contradicted the popular wisdom. Pinterest gives you 7 days, not 30. LinkedIn gives 14, and reopening still loses your endorsements. Snapchat's data export window closes at 30 days even though deletion takes 60. Deleting Threads locks you out of rejoining for 90 days.
What this site is not
- Not affiliated with any platform. We are not connected to, endorsed by, or partnered with Meta, Google, ByteDance, Snap, X, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, Automattic or anyone else described here.
- Not a deletion service. We cannot delete an account for you, and neither can anyone else. Every platform requires you to prove you own the account. Anyone advertising otherwise is running a scam.
- Never asks for your credentials. No page on this site will ever ask for a password, a verification code, or a login of any kind. If you see a page claiming to, it is not us.
How the site makes money
Advertising, and in some sections affiliate links. Where a page carries affiliate links it says so on that page — the alternatives page currently carries none, and says as much.
Recommendations are not sold. Several services listed on this site are nonprofits with no referral programme at all, which is precisely why they are worth recommending.

We would rather hear that a page is wrong than leave someone stuck halfway through deleting their account.
