Leave with a plan. Keep what matters.
What should I do before deleting my accounts?
Save the data you want to keep, replace any sign-in connections, and check subscriptions before requesting deletion. Use this planner to track each account separately. It stores your checklist in this browser; it does not access or delete accounts for you.

Your account cleanup plan
Start with one account. Keep your main email or sign-in account until the services that depend on it have another way to let you in.
Your checklist is saved on this device. On a shared computer, clear it when you finish.
Add an account to see your checklist. Nothing is deleted by this tool.
Remove this checklist from this browser? This does not affect your actual accounts.
A safer order for closing accounts
- Start with accounts that stand alone. A forum you no longer use is usually simpler to untangle than an account that supplies your email, cloud storage and sign-in for other services. Check the individual guide for exceptions.
- Save and open your export. Requesting a download is not the same as receiving it. Wait for the archive, save a copy outside the account you are closing, then open a few files. Our data rescue checklist covers what to look for.
- Replace linked sign-ins and recovery details. For each service using the account as a login, add an independent sign-in method if available. Test it in a separate browser session while you still have access. Also replace recovery email addresses where needed.
- Check who bills you. Look at your receipt and the subscription settings of the store or provider that charged you. Follow the relevant cancellation instructions; do not assume uninstalling an app or requesting account deletion stops a separate subscription.
- Use the platform's own deletion flow. Read the confirmation carefully and keep the receipt or confirmation email somewhere you can still access. Tick “Deletion requested” only when the platform has confirmed that request.
- Record the platform's next step. A pending request is not completed deletion. Follow the timeline and any conditions shown by that platform. Our deletion-time comparison distinguishes cancellation windows from processing time.
Example: leaving Facebook while keeping other services
Add Facebook to your plan. Before you tick the sign-in check, look for services where you chose “Log in with Facebook.” Visit each service's account settings and see whether it lets you add a password or another login. Test that alternative before closing Facebook. If a service offers no alternative, ask that service about migration before proceeding. The Facebook guide explains the dependency.
The checkboxes deliberately include “checked / not applicable.” You may have no subscription to cancel or no workspace to transfer. Mark a check after looking, rather than creating unnecessary work. The planner does not infer that an account is safe to delete from a score.
What the planner saves
Only your selected platform names and checklist progress are stored in this browser. There are no username, password, email or notes fields. The planner sends no checklist data to a server, and this page loads no advertising script. Your browser or device may clear local storage; a printed copy is useful for a longer cleanup.
Removing an account from this list only removes its checklist. Clearing the plan removes all of this tool's saved selections; it leaves the separate data rescue checklist alone. Other people using the same browser profile can see saved selections, so clear them when you are done on a shared device. See the privacy policy for hosting and analytics details.
What happens after requesting deletion?
Use the confirmation from the platform as your record. This tool cannot check whether the request succeeded, recover an account or calculate a guaranteed deletion date. Some providers offer a cancellation period; others do not. Records retained for legal, security or transaction purposes may follow different rules from your public profile.
If you want a break rather than permanent removal, check whether the platform offers deactivation. If you have lost access, recover it first through the official provider. Never send a password or verification code to this site or to someone offering to run the checklist for you.
Found a step that no longer matches? Report a correction with the platform, device and menu label that changed. Do not include login details.
